a productive day!

i've actually had a really productive day, despite it being my day off and normally i would have just sat around, sleeping and watching tv. i woke up about 10 am this morning, which is really really earlier for me (i usually don't even have to be up until 11:30 am for work). for some reason, i felt like getting a few things done on my list of a million things to do. so, i got up and got dressed, went and got my car washed, then got donuts at Shipley's. after that, i went back to my apartment to wait until my 1:15 pm doctor's appointment. at home i started laundry and read a little from the book i'm reading. after my doctor's appointment i came back home feeling sleeping and took a nap. then a good friend of mine got into town and we went to Target then dinner at Ninfa's. afterwards we came back to my apartment, i finished my laundry and we just sat down to watch a movie. We put Sleepers in. i've seen the movie before but my friend had not. i love the movie and would recommend it to anyone. it's kinda long, but well worth it.

so i feel like i got a lot done today, considering i haven't done hardly anything since i got back from vacation almost two weeks ago. i still have a lot to do (like getting my oil changed, finishing up grocery shopping, stopping by the post office for stamps, and some other random things). there's always tomorrow and i plan on getting some more done then. and then back to work for the week on Sunday. woo hoo.
