Merry Late Christmas!

I had a great Christmas! my family and I went on a 7 day cruise to the Virgin Islands. it was beautiful and great to get away to the warm weather for a little while. I'm back to work tomorrow...

so i've been off work for 7 days! i just returned today. i had a great time and it was definitely a much needed break. I went home to Spring last Tuesday then headed to Iota, Louisiana Friday through Sunday, then back to Waco Monday and work today. it was great! i feel like i've been thinking about a lot of stuff i want to post but right now nothing is coming to mind. so...here's a few pics from my trip to LA for now!

i realize i haven't posted anything with much substance lately 'cuz i've been really busy. soon, i promise. this next week i'm heading home for a few days then to Louisiana to stay with my best friend, Amanda. i'm super excited to get away for a little while and especially to see Amanda since i haven't seen her since her wedding over a year ago. i'm sure i'll some exciting stuff to post when i get back!

in other news, a friend of mine and i took our dogs to the Waco Humane Society today to get them microchipped. so now Bo and Rex are identifiable if they ever leave me (and God forbid they do)! it actually didn't hurt them at all. i just feel a lot better now having that done.

it's not too late (and a Saturday night) but i'm super exhausted so i'm off to bed now. have a wonderful rest of the weekend!

it's almost the weekend!

it's been a crazy, long week at work but it's almost the weekend! and i'm only working ONE day next week because i'm going home and to Louisiana! i can't wait.

spring break fever

in the midst of what seems like everyone around me's excitement over spring break, here at i am at work. so, in lieu my spring break week that i'm really not having, here's a little snippit of all the beautiful places i would love to visit.


first off, we have HAWAII. i would definitely choose to go here before anywhere else. i realize it's still in the US (sorta) but my whole family has been there but me :( my older sister also got married there like 20-something years ago. i would make sure and visit the volcano sites, snorkle, attend a luau, and bask on the beautiful beaches. oh and maybe even try me a little surfing...any takers?!?!

ok so now i would be off to AUSTRALIA. i would never miss out on spending a day in the outback, then a little coral reef and beach time, without forgetting the amazing nature Australia has to offer. how awesome would it be to see kangaroo, koala bears and lots of other things in person?!?!

next on my list, but certainly not least - i would love to take a cruise to and around THE MEDITTERANEAN! there is so much history to be seen and so much to see and do around the area!

so there's a few of the places i've never been to that i would love to visit. but, i definitely wouldn't pass up another trip to LAS VEGAS, NEW YORK or the BAHAMAS!!
