a new address for me!

it's official!  I am completely moved!  and I absolutely love my new place!

the movers showed up at my old place at 8 am this past Saturday morning.  after 7 hours of loading and unloading, they were finished.  my mom was here for the weekend (omg, such a blessing!) and she immediately started helping me unpack and organize.  at this point, I'm almost completely, totally done and set up in my new place.  all I have left are my big paintings and pictures and a friend of mine will be here tomorrow to hang those! 

and almost the best part...I got new my new washer and dryer delivered today!  it's been more than two years since I've lived somewhere where a washer and dryer were in the unit.  and now I have my own!  I started laundry as soon as the guys delivering it left.  love it. 

did I mention that the boys love love love their new backyard?  ohhh they do!!  it's so awesome to see them happy and running around outside.  and Rex might even loose a little weight now :)

t minus 5 days!

until my dogs and I have a new place!  with a yard!  I absolutely cannot wait to move!  I've already got some outdoor furniture and a new washer and dryer ordered for the new place!  and I've picked out a new couch I really want!

I can't wait to be in a neighborhood that's new, quiet, and beautiful!  not to mention a place with a yard, garage and no direct neighbors (no sharing walls with them). 

can't wait :)

packing...lots

so I decided to get more packing done.  besides today, I only have one more weekend day to pack - next Sunday.  I'm doing the concealed handgun license class next Saturday and it's from 8am - 6pm so that days shot.  haha, no pun intended!

anyhow, I hate packing.  it's been two years since I've packed and moved and I forgot how much it sucks.  I'm super excited to move, I just have to get this damn packing done.  my apartment is a total mess right now.  but, I would say that I'm at least half way done.  if it wasn't so expensive, I would have gotten a company to do the packing for me.  I do have movers though, thank goodness!

so time to get back to the packing :)

I signed a lease this past week! I know I said I was looking at houses and wanted to buy but after thinking about everything that goes into buying a house, I'm just really not ready for it.  so, I signed a lease for a brand new duplex near Waco.  I'm super excited to move...just not to pack.  I'm moving in less than a month and have so much to do before then.  BUT...I'm getting another dog after I move!  and Bo and Rex are so excited about this!
