a new found love

I love GARDENING...sorta!  I love painting flower pots and putting flowers in them...

I planted three different things of flowers and one thing of cherry tomatoes and one of cucumbers!  I watered them today so I just need to continue to water them daily!  and I want to paint and plant more!

a hodgepodge of sorts...

so much going on lately...I love my new house just as much as I did the day I moved in.  and the boys still love it!  especially the back yard.  check out Rex...

 his favorite thing to do every time we go outside...sun bathe!

and recently at a friend's house, I was reminded of how much Bo loves playing in the water...

it's hard to tell, but he is jumping up trying to attack/eat the water from the sprinkler!

the flowers I planted are started to grow.  there are a few seeds that have just begun budding.  and my tomatoes too...

 I can't wait to have some homegrown tomatoes!

nothing much more to say...it's been a super lazy day for me on the couch...oh, but I did get out this morning and buy a new comforter for my bed and I can't wait to sleep in my bed tonight!

gardening can be fun!

I've been in my new place for about 2 weeks now.  and I still love it!  I decided last night that I wanted to try a little gardening of sorts.  I figured I should start out little so I got the Topsy Turvy planter for tomatoes! you are supposed to have an already rooted tomato plant to begin the Topsy Turvy thing and since I didn't have one, I planted some tomato seeds in a bowl for now.  once they grow a little bit, I'll transplant them into the Topsy Turvy and we'll see what happens!  I also got some random flower seeds and a big purple pot and planted those for the backyard today!  I hope it all grows well and I remember to water them :)
