I like shopping but I love reading!

and I can't stop buying books!  I bought three more this weekend and I'm almost done with one of them.  check out my reading list to the right, I've updated it...

but back to reading for me.  and watching the LADY BEARS!!

I've read NINE books so far this year (check my reading list to the right)!  and, I'm currently reading two right now!

another week gone by...

yes, another week, really busy one at that, has come and gone.  this past week at work was crazy for me, lots to do and take care of with lots of hours worked.  but I'm definitely catching up on my sleep this weekend!  I slept until 1 pm today, got up and dressed and went grocery shopping.  then came back home and took a nap!  now, I'm just sitting around watching NCIS Season 1. 

and doing some reading!  I'm a few pages away from being done with one book and excited to start the new Chelsea Lately book! 

ok, back to my TV and book!  have a good rest of the weekend :)

I think it's a good thing

I have realized (or more like accepted) the fact that I absolutely cannot go into Barnes and Noble without buying at least one book and most likely a magazine.  I usually buy multiple books and mags, but tonight I walked out with only one book and one magazine.  like I need more books!
 
of course I bought the January Real Simple and then found a new book titled 'Beautiful Boy' by David Sheff.  the dad in the story tells of the journey through his son's addiction.  oh memoirs.  how I love thee.  especially ones that I can relate to in some random (or not so random) way.  I've already read a few chapters tonight and feel like this book will be complete in a few days!

I've got to get back into the habit of reading. usually, I've always got at least one book I'm reading, sometimes 2 or 3. but lately, I've been slacking and not reading as much. I've started three books, but have not finished them. so, I've got a list of books that I have already and haven't read and some that I just ordered, and I'm planning on having them all read by the end of the year! I can totally do this!
