I've never really been into the Winter Olympics.  I definitely love watching the Summer Olympics but never found something I thought was exciting to watch with the Winter Olympics.  until now.  I love watching the speed skating and an occasional figure skating competition.  I'm pretty sure over the past week I've spent way too many hours stuck to the TV watching speed skating and other random Winter Olympic sports.  I'm not too keen on the luge, especially since someone died practicing on the luge.  I just don't really see the point in it, but whatever.  I just love the Olympics!  GO TEAM USA :)

Singles Awareness Day 2010

yet another Valentine's Day single.  but I'm really not bummed about it.  my mom has always done a good job with us kids about making every holiday special.  even Valentine's Day.  so for me, Valentine's Day is not just about having a significant other to gush about but also to remember your other loves like family.  and my mom did not forget my dogs and I this year...

in other news, Waco has been super cold lately.  you probably have already heard about all the snow the south got, especially the Dallas area, but here's a few pics of the Waco area snow.

 

 

I got off work early, due to the snow, and this was what Downtown Waco looked like on my way home!  beautiful!!

and on another random note, I've never really been too into the Winter Olympics but I've been watching it all so far this year.  I still like the Summer Olympics better, but the Winter Olympics aren't bad at all :)
